On August 1, 2014, residents covered by the Oakdale Fire Department were treated to a lower ISO rating. That rating was an ISO CLASS 4.

New Tanker acquired through a FEMA Grant
A 2019 Freightliner 3000 gallon Tanker was custom built by FES for Oakdale Fire. This was possible through a grant that was received from FEMA. The truck was placed in service during the 4th quarter of 2018.
